A Letter to My Ancestors.

Oh, ancestors, lend me your ear,

As I speak of changes, crystal clear,

I stand amidst a shifting scene,

Where Mother Earth's beauty's been and seen.

Once, forests thrived in boundless might,

With canopies dense, a verdant sight,

Yet now I see the scars of greed,

As trees fall down like whispers freed.

The skies above were once so blue,

But now they're marred with shades askew,

The stars that danced in the night's embrace,

Are dimmed by lights that blot out space.

Rivers once flowed with sparkling streams,

Now they bear the weight of human dreams,

Pollution's touch has tainted their grace,

A reflection of our heedless race.

Creatures roamed with wild delight,

Across landscapes kissed by twilight,

Yet now they're vanishing, one by one,

A fading echo of what's undone.

Oh, ancestors, I feel the weight,

Of choices made, it's not too late,

To mend the wounds, to heal the scars,

And reach for hope beneath the stars.

I'Il stand against the tide of change,

With voices rising, rearranged,

The path we tread, the choices we make,

For Mother Earth's sake.

Dear ancestors, I'll heed the call,

To mend the threads, to stand up tall,

With a youthful spirit and love untamed,

I'll strive to keep your legacy named.

For though I'm young and yet to grow,

The flame within me brightly glows,

With each small step, I'll play my part,

To mend the Earth and awaken every heart.
